A Message from the ENETS Chair

Dear colleagues and friends,

Further education,  interesting lectures, meeting colleagues, initiating research projects, celebrating and experiencing the first signs of spring in Barcelona – for many of us, these are mirrored in the Annual ENETS Conference that we know and wish to held.

The personal gathering, access to latest developments in NET research and opportunities for networking in its combination are unique and can only be experienced through a physical presence at the conference. We regret that once again, due to the COVID pandemic, we are unable to meet in person.

Even in these challenging times the need for further education, scientific exchange and debate remains and ENETS aims to deliver a high-quality conference in a digital format - like we did in our last virtual conference in March this year.

A one-day postgraduate course and three days of scientific programme, accompanied by a supplementary programme as well as satellite symposia, are awaiting you on 20 February 2021 and 25 – 27 February 2021. We have tried to bring the best minds on the most important topics together and will gradually fill this programme with more details. There will be room and opportunity for personal exchange, a mentor session for women in NET, and much more.

Register today, visit our website regularly and look forward to an interesting conference programme in 2021. We are also looking forward to your abstract submissions.

We wish you good health and will stay connected.

Yours sincerely,

Marianne PAVEL

Statement on the 18th Annual ENETS Conference in 2021

At ENETS, the health and safety of our international guests and valued members is our top priority. Due to concerns and uncertainty regarding travel safety and large group gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic increase, ENETS has taken the decision:

  • to host its 18th Annual ENETS Conference as a virtual event
  • the main event will take place on Thursday to Saturday, 25 – 27 February 2021
  • the Postgraduate Course is scheduled for Saturday, 20 February 2021.

The Postgraduate Course will be held as a separate, virtual event close to the main conference. More details will be made available shortly.

Registrations are now open!

We are diligently working behind the scenes on a first-class programme for 2021, which will deliver the best science and multidisciplinary educational content in NET diagnostic and therapy. The event will offer the latest in evidence-based science, practice updates, and treatment advances. Some highlights include:

  • Plenary lectures on radiomics in NEN and immunotherapy in cancer
  • Pathology of neuroendocrine neoplasms
  • Carcinoid heart disease
  • A joint session with the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE)
  • Nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapy
  • Recent results from clinical trials and key ongoing trials
  • Treatment outcomes
  • Live basic and clinical oral abstract sessions

ENETS, along with its sponsors and partners, looks forward to delivering an excellent programme. We will meet the challenge and provide more inspiring ways to learn and direct ways to interact with the global NET community.

Abstracts submissions are open until 9:00 am Central European Time (CET) on Monday, 23 November 2020!
