Thank you for attending the 21st Annual ENETS Conference in 2024!

Dear colleagues and friends,

The hybrid 21st Annual ENETS Conference took place on 13 - 15 March 2024 in the Austria Center Vienna in Vienna, Austria. More than 1,160 people from over 60 countries registered for the event.

Gratitude and thanks

ENETS and its scientific organising committee would like to express gratitude and thanks to all the participants who took part in this year’s conference. We would also like to sincerely thank our Scientific Faculty of 2024 for their important contribution. And last, but not least: ENETS is indebted to our many generous sponsors, supporters and collaborating partners – without their help, the 21st Annual ENETS Conference would not have been possible.

Programme highlights

The 2024 scientific programme combined lectures and latest research results. Highlights included a whole day on basic and translational science with sessions focussing on cells of origin, immune tumor environment and opportunities for therapy in NENs, DAXX/ATRX and MEN1 role in NET tumorigenesis, and the biology of PRRT. These talks were amplified by best abstracts in the field.

The Postgraduate Course focussed on follow-up after R0 resection of thoracic and digestive NET, a NET imaging session, if epidemiology affects the care of NEN patients, and selecting the best locoregional therapy in slowly progressive NETS.

Two days in the programme were dedicated to clinical science and broached subjects including interdisciplinary management of neuroendocrine tumor syndromes, drug development in NENs, rising endoscopic and surgical techniques for treating GEP-NETs, and recent advances in targeted radionuclide therapy. ENETS was happy to host a joint session with the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). The conference was rounded off with a nurses and dietician as well as a patient advocacy session.

Did you miss the conference and would like to see webcasts of the sessions?

Don't worry, you can still purchase a virtual ticket to gain access to view all webcasts, see the poster gallery, read the abstract booklet in MY ENETS.
