ENETS is proud to award this year’s Life Achievement Award to Prof. Kjell Öberg, who is
Professor of Endocrine Oncology at the Medical Faculty of Uppsala University and one of the founders of
ENETS. He served as Vice-Chairman of the ENETS Executive Committee and held the position of ENETS Chairman from 2012-2014. He will hold a Keynote Presentation on Thursday, 9 March 2017 and also hold a lecture during the Postgraduate Course on Wednesday, 8 March 2017.

The Nurse Symposium will be taking place on Friday, 10 March 2017 at 10:50hrs. The symposium will be chaired by Prof. Martyn Caplin (ENETS Vice-Chairman) and Ms. Philippa Davies (Lead Nurse Neuroendocrine Tumours, Royal Free London). The talks will cover Patient Satisfaction Regarding Home Injection Service for Somatostatin Analogue, Small Bowel Bacterial Overgrowth in NET Patients and a UK Survey on the Use of Long-Acting Somatostatin Analogues in NET.

Dr. Christos Toumpanakis is a Consultant in Gastroenterology & Neuroendocrine Tumors in the Neuroendocrine Tumor Unit – ENETS Centre of Excellence, at Royal
Free Hospital, London, UK, since 2007. He will talk about Gastric NETs – Short Case Studies and also chair the session.

Prof. Damian Wild is Head and Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Basel as Head and Professor of Nuclear Medicine since 2012. He will talk about Nuclear Medicine Imaging – What Does the Future Hold?
Richard P. Baum is Chairman and Clinical Director of the THERANOSTICS Center
for Molecular Radiotherapy and Molecular Imaging at Zentralklinik Bad Berka (ENETS Center of Excellence since 2011). He will talk about Nuclear Medicine Therapy – What Does the Future Hold?
